Is this “about” page supposed to be about me, or about the blog? Or both even?

I choose both.

So originally I was going to make this a mommy blog and tell you all about my children and the clever things they do/say and “Oh look pictures! How cute!” and whatnot. However, because of the way I’ve chosen to live my life and the people I’ve surrounded myself with, I’ve become aware of an aching need to have someone a place to talk to put the things that happen to me every day while flipping the proverbial bird at everyone I know that would otherwise object to it.

That being said… I’m a 20something stay-at-home mother of  4 children (though technically 1 doesn’t know I exist) and step-mother of one, with dreams of becoming a famous author. I’ve been married 8 years to a man I met less than a year before the wedding, whose family I try really hard (but usually fail) to get along with and whom I often want to stab (but won’t, because blood is a bio-hazard*).

I try to make light of life and the world around me and amuse the shit out of myself in doing so, and so I hope to amuse you somewhat too. I also cuss too much and abuse the hell out of the comma (parentheses and elipises too**), which are all things I’m sure you’ll find out rather swiftly if you read my blog.

Oh yeah. I play video games.  And I read more than can possibly be healthy for any one person to read. And I like cats. And sparklies. And stuff.

So anyway… enjoy your stay, and try not to scream too loudly as you’re running out the door. You’ll scare away all the other customers!

*The man, not the family… although I honestly wouldn’t mind stabbing them either.

**Really, I abuse all punctuation, which is a horrible, horrible thing because -if you recall- I said I wanted to be a famous author when I grew up.
